You will work within Talos/Cisco Talos Incident Response, Talos Threat Hunting, and across Cisco BUs, as well as with various partners and customers.

To do this, the Services Marketing Manager will focus on three levels of awareness:

  • Acquisition: Bring awareness to Talos services through content such as field enablement, internal communications strategy, and externally through events strategy, social media, copywriting, and blogs. This requires you to ideate campaigns, create a budget, craft a project plan, and manage content creation. Driving execution across multiple teams across Cisco.
  • Engagement: Build trust and create conversation with sales, executives, and potential customers through events, campaigns, and specific calls to action.
  • Go-to-market: Understand specific content needs to grow the business, such as customer case studies, global market engagement, and strategic programs.

  • Work in small, cross-functional teams to solve complex and sometimes high-priority problems
  • Create and execute marketing plan and content programs for Talos revenue generating services
  • Build the launch plan for new products and major updates, and manage cross-functional execution
  • Collaborate with global sales and partner organizations for enablement, education, and research
  • Develop internal tools and external collateral and the field how and when to use it.
  • Collaborate with product management and marketing communications to positioning services and messaging that resonate with our target buyer personas.
  • Create, roll out, and support technical content such as demos, videos, workshops, tutorials, blogs, and whitepapers connecting Talos services to customer needs
  • Act as a thought leader and facilitate sponsored events, brand experiences, and media/PR opportunities, * including speaking engagements and written works.
  • Market intelligence—be the expert on our buyers, who they are, how they buy and key buying criteria.
  • Understand the competitive landscape—be an expert on our competition and how they are positioned.
  • Track and assess the effectiveness of your program on an ongoing basis, and report back to the business on required changes.
  • Represent Talos at customer engagements with sales, at conferences, and at community events

Minimum Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s/undergraduate degree in marketing, business, or tech-related field (military or professional experience can substitute)
  • 5 years security marketing experience, at least 4 years go-to-market product service experience preferred
  • Solid knowledge of security market dynamics, security service funnel and services lifecycle
  • Awareness of key concepts behind incident response and threat hunting
  • Excellent organization and project management skills
  • Excellent written/verbal communication skills
  • Ability to work independently and organize workload to handle multiple deadlines
  • Excellent time management and teamwork skills.
  • Foundational marketing and campaign management experience
  • The ability to prioritize tasks and responsibilities across projects

Preferred Skills:

  • Experience with automation, analytics, and content platforms (Eloqua, Google Analytics, Sprinklr)
  • Experience with Adobe CC
  • Experience with video editing and/or production
  • Comfortable using collaboration and CRM tools such as Webex and Salesforce
  • Power user of networking tools such as LinkedIn, Twitter, Facebook, and Instagram
  • Proven ROI-tracking skills, able to prove what is –or is not—working
  • Excellent people and management skills to interact with staff, colleagues, cross-functional teams and third parties
  • Experience producing sales collateral from sales conversations, user interviews, market research, etc.
  • Experience designing and delivering sales enablement training to ensure that salespeople can best deliver Talos services to enterprise customers
